The original steak restaurant that was out by the pool had better options. Fuego – The steak for two is a bad cut of meat. The Bar at Sun Palace – The sports bar is larger and looks great with newly added pool tables 4.
Thai Restaurant – The food is always good 3. Gourmet Café – offers coffee, cakes and hand-painted chocolates 2. We decided to give ourselves a tour of the place to see the changes after the renovation. Every morning for breakfast we had the server Macedonio, who was fantastic. The front desk manager Eric is wonderful and always makes sure we are happy with our stay. Right away you noticed the changes in the lobby and I must admit, it looks really good. When we arrived we were expecting the lovely scent that is well known at the Palace however, the scent had been changed and it’s not welcoming and relaxing as the original (please bring it back). We were last there their last week open before renovations in June of 2019.
